Weddings

Every couple's relationship is unique and so it is fitting that with an Independent Celebrant you can have a ceremony that is as individual as you are. The words will reflect your personalities and are perfectly tuned to the love you share.
The joy and excitement you feel on starting married life together can be shared with all your family and friends.

I really enjoy the experience of working together with a couple and seeing their wedding ceremony evolve. Poems and readings are suggested, music is chosen and gradually their dreams take shape.

The Order of Service can be as secular or spiritual as you wish and I am happy to include an special elements or family traditions.

You are not bound by tradition (unless you wish) and you are free to let your imagination inspire you. Without the constraints of church or registry office, you can choose to celebrate wherever you wish.
It might be a quiet family gathering in your home, a wedding on a windswept beach, a wild party in a castle or a romantic, private tryst beneath an oak tree in a meadow.

I'm always happy to take part in weddings with a special theme and enjoy dressing to suit.

The legal part takes 20 minutes in your local registry office with two witnesses, prior to your celebration. You are then free to choose when and where you hold your wedding ceremony.

"Jane was, in one word: AMAZING! Not only did she write a ceremony that got everyone involved, (it)  made us laugh, made us cry and was a wonderful part of the evening...
A lovely lady, with a wicked sense of humour and a twinkle in her eye- there are some people who are in exactly the right job and Jane is one of them.
I would totally recommend Jane for your ceremony- for her dedication to her job, her wonderful sense of empathy for your ceremony and her lovely way with words. A day to remember."
