About me

Jane Arnold Celebrant

I am an independent celebrant and a member of The U.K Society of Celebrants.

By this I mean that I am guided by my couples’ and families’ beliefs and not by my own. My ceremonies are fitted to the needs and wishes of my families and I am always open to their suggestions. I have been trained to work with people and I am practiced at turning their ideas for a ceremony into reality.

I am comfortable with secular, or spiritual or religious ceremonies- it is your ceremony and it should be exactly how you wish it.

My background includes: running my own business selling old, rare and interesting books, I was the organiser of a local Day Centre and I have a B.A. Hons in English from London University, Westfield College.

My love of books goes back to childhood and I have been lucky enough to have a career that has allowed me to continue with my love of reading. I enjoy searching for the perfect poem or quotation for my ceremonies.

I have been a professional public speaker for many years and I am always happy to coach and encourage anyone who wishes to read at a ceremony.

I enjoy working closely with my couples and families. They will have a chance to get to know me and trust that I have understood their wishes. I am willing to spend the time it takes to create a  unique and fitting ceremony and I love the moment when all the planning and preparation comes together and then everyone can look back on it and say –

 “Yes! That was absolutely perfect!”
